Located at the heart of the Nandi escarpment in the hilly and leafy suburbs of Kisumu City.
Lovely Garden Guest Home offers fresh tasty meals, and cozy accommodations, and hosts corporate businesses meetings, and parties for families and friends.
We were tasked with creating a new visual identity for the Guest Home.
The biggest challenge was to create a unique identity for the Lake Area while being able to represent all of the different design disciplines within the region.
Our solution was to channel the hospitality, warmth, and openness of the surroundings. We developed the concept of a ‘lovely garden’ which is represented in a timeless, dynamic creative symbol — Reminiscent of the sun, garden, and the lakeside.
The rays, diagonally right-hand side of the logo represent the sun, while each ray represents the four initials of the logo name ‘LGGH” striking the lovely gardens.
The color palette represents the ‘Golden Hour’ — a unique light that hits the Lakeside Area of Western Kenya at the end of each day as the sun sets
LGGH typography, Dragon Fire, is also unique to the region.
